SOMETHING ABOUT A WOMAN
View
this Collection . . .
This is the series I'm working on . The name of this collection of work will no doubt change, much as the seasons change and we ourselves change. There is so much more to being a woman than words can ever express.

JEWELRY/ UNTAMED
View
this Collection . . .
I've been designing jewelry and selling them at Riverbend Fine Arts in Marble Falls Tx, so I thought it was about time I put them on my web page. I started doing these because I stand to paint, and when i get too tired standing, I still want to be busy doing something creative.

ACRYLIC ABSTRACTS
View
this Collection . . .
These are just pure abstracts. Sometimes there is a subject matter. But that is not the most important part of the painting. The most important thing about the painting is color, shapes, and value.

ABSTRACTED SKIES
View
this Collection . . .
Sometimes I think that I should not even call these paintings of skies, since they are so abstracted and have very little to do with real life and sometimes i don't care if the painting looks like a sky at all!
Sometimes I'd just as soon that it didn't. I just get involved in shapes and colors and mostly, that is what my paitnings are about.

CACTUS ABSTRACTIONS
View
this Collection . . .
I live on a ranch in the hill country of Texas. We have tons of cactus. In the spring, their blooms are beautiful. In the fall, they have tunas, which are the red fruit. Some people eat this fruit. I don't. but i do enjoy painting them. And the shapes of the cactus, along with the shapes of the tunas, make a perfect subject for me to paint.
They lean towards each other, or away. And before you know it, they begin to look like groups of people in some sort of discussion!
